Terms of use

These terms cover BSV Inference at inference.bsvkey.com, its API and the @bsvkey/inference-mcp package, run by Embryo Space Inc., doing business as BSVKey ("we"). By using the service you agree to them. If you have a separate written agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ. The disclaimers on the home page are part of these terms.

What the service does

We pass your requests to third-party AI models and charge per token, at the prices shown on the pricing page when the call runs. Each call returns a signed usage receipt you can check yourself.

Payments

• Funding a channel, and paying per call in Bitcoin BSV, XRP or USDC, are real blockchain transactions you sign yourself. Once broadcast they are permanent and public and cannot be reversed by us or anyone else.
• Amounts spent on calls are final. For a non-custodial channel, unspent funds come back to you as the home page explains: when you close and settle, or through the signed refund you save when you open it, less the stated network fee. Keep that refund safe. Other prepaid channel balances are not refundable.
• Token counts are measured by the service and may differ slightly from your own estimates. The model provider's tokens, including any hidden reasoning tokens it bills, are charged as they occur. Dollar amounts are estimates at a live exchange rate.
• We may change prices at any time. The price that applies is the one in effect when a call runs.

AI output

Answers come from third-party models and can be wrong, incomplete, biased or out of date. They are not professional, financial, legal, medical or investment advice. You are responsible for how you use them, and for checking anything important.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your key, recovery phrase, channel ID and secret, API key and refund files safe. Anyone who has them can spend your balance, and we cannot recover them.
• Follow the usage policies of the AI providers whose models you use. Do not use the service for anything unlawful or harmful, to get around a provider's rules, or to try to break, overload or get around the service or its metering.
• You are responsible for what you send and for following the laws, sanctions, export rules and taxes that apply to you.

Third parties

The service depends on AI providers, blockchain networks and APIs, exchange-rate feeds, wallet services and hosting that we do not control. They may fail, rate-limit, change prices or return wrong data.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available, fast or error-free. Long or slow calls may be cut off by hosting time limits. We may change, pause or end any model or feature.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost funds, data or profits, or charges from third parties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for calls in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law where you live says cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
