BSV Inference (inference.bsvkey.com) is run by Embryo Space Inc., doing business as BSVKey ("we"). It sells AI model calls paid per token in Bitcoin BSV, and also accepts XRP and USDC. The short version: your wallet key stays in your browser, we keep what each call cost but not what was said, and your prompts go to the AI provider that answers them.
Your prompts and answers
- What you send is passed to the AI provider for the model you choose (for example Anthropic or xAI), which answers it under its own terms and privacy policy. If you turn on web search, the provider runs the searches.
- Long requests are handled by our worker on Fly.io (bsvkey-inference-worker.fly.dev), which passes them to the provider the same way.
- We do not save the text of prompts or answers. Usage receipts contain only one-way fingerprints (hashes) of them, which cannot be turned back into the text. A fingerprint of a receipt may be written to the Bitcoin BSV blockchain so anyone can check it later.
What we keep
- Channels: each prepaid channel's ID, its funding transaction, balance, amount spent, number of calls and pricing tier, and a label if one was set for a business account.
- Call records: time, channel, model, token counts and cost of each call. These are kept so balances and receipts add up.
- Payments: transaction IDs and the status of payments you make in Bitcoin BSV, XRP or USDC, so a payment cannot be used twice. Payments are public on their blockchains anyway.
- .key sign-in: if you link a .key name on the account page, the name and the channel it is linked to.
- Contact form: if you use the volume pricing form, your email, expected volume and message, kept in our host's form service (Netlify Forms) so we can reply.
- This data is stored with our host, Netlify (Netlify Blobs). Server logs record channel openings and errors, and our host may keep short-lived request logs with your IP address.
Your key and what is stored in your browser
- Keys you create or load stay in your browser and are never sent to us. "Save in this browser" keeps the key in local storage on this device, encrypted if you set a passphrase and unencrypted if you do not. Backup files you export contain the key in plain text.
- Local storage also keeps your channel ID and secret (they work like an API key), refund transactions for non-custodial channels, your API key on the account page, whether you accepted the disclaimers, and display choices such as theme, colors and language. Session storage briefly keeps a .key sign-in in progress.
- No cookies of our own, no analytics and no advertising trackers.
- Clear any of this by clearing this site's data in your browser. Back up your key and channel first, or you may lose access to your balance.
Other services your browser talks to
- WhatsOnChain (a public Bitcoin BSV explorer): balances, transactions and exchange rates. It sees your IP address and what is looked up.
- XRP page: public XRP Ledger nodes (xrplcluster.com, and Ripple's testnet on testnet).
- USDC page: signing in with your email creates a wallet with Coinbase's embedded wallet service, so Coinbase receives your email and wallet activity under its own policy. Payments settle on Base (mainnet.base.org) through Coinbase's x402 service.
- Google Fonts: some pages load typefaces from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share your data, we do not build profiles, and we do not use your prompts or answers to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Channel and call records are kept as long as they are needed to run the service, settle channels and check receipts. Contact messages are kept until we no longer need them to answer you. Anything written to a blockchain is permanent.
Your choices and rights
You can use the service without giving a name or email (except on the USDC page, which needs an email for Coinbase). Depending on where you live you may have rights to access or delete personal data we hold; we will honor them for the data we actually hold. Email us with your channel ID.
